The QRS has a sad announcement to make. The last launch for 2008 is almost here.
We will be launching rockets from about 8:00am until 12:00 noon on Sunday 14th December. The location is our usual launch site at Cedar Grove. Detailed directions to the launch site can be found here.
Many of our club members are progressing to bigger, more powerful and more complex rockets, so there will be some really interesting flights at this launch. You can see what some members will be launching on the Australian Rocketry forum if you click here (new window).
Members are welcome to bring along their family and friends to enjoy a relaxed day of rocketry fun.
Please be "sun-smart"! Bring a hat and sunscreen, even if the weather is overcast. We prefer that you do not bring any pet animals to the launch site.
